Products FAQs

Global Pack manufactures thermoformed PET packaging for fresh produce and selected specialty applications. Available formats include top-seal trays, clamshells, bowls, punnets, baskets, lids, domes and bases. Product availability and specifications vary by format.

The correct format depends on the produce type, target pack weight, ventilation requirements, closure or sealing method, pack-line equipment, shipping conditions and retail presentation. Share these requirements with our team to identify an appropriate stock format or custom solution.

Available dimensions, material information and packing configurations are listed on individual product pages and specification sheets. If a required detail is not shown, contact Global Pack with the product name or SKU.

Products identified as top-seal trays are designed for film-lidding applications. Film, equipment and process compatibility should be validated for the intended application before commercial production.

Materials & Sustainability

Global Pack specializes in PET and rPET thermoformed packaging. The material specification for each product should be confirmed on its product page, specification sheet or quotation.

PET is a clear, lightweight and impact-resistant plastic commonly used for food packaging. rPET is PET that incorporates recycled material. Recycled content and construction can vary by product.

PET is widely recognized as a recyclable material. Actual acceptance depends on the package design and local collection and processing requirements. Labels, films and other components may need to be separated where required by the local program.

Recycled-content options may be available depending on the product and project requirements. Contact our team to confirm current options, minimum quantities and the applicable product specification.
